We’re recruiting part‑time evening Claims Handlers to join our team. This role is 21 hours per week over 4 days and offers flexible shift rotations, with availability across the weekend.
You’ll begin with 6.5 weeks of structured training, delivered on a part‑time basis, to ensure you’re fully supported and confident before moving into role.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Claims Handler within Green Flag Rescue Operations, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers experiencing a vehicle breakdown. You’ll play a vital role in supporting customers during what can be a stressful time, ensuring they feel reassured and informed from the very first call.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Handling inbound customer calls and acting as the first point of contact following a breakdown
2. Gathering accurate information to assess the situation, including location, vehicle details, and customer safety
3. Setting clear expectations and providing tailored guidance to customers
4. Coordinating and dispatching appropriate recovery assistance efficiently
5. Managing the initial stages of the breakdown claim through to resolution
6. Delivering a calm, empathetic, and professional service while working to performance targets
What you’ll need:
7. A customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service
8. Confidence handling calls in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
9. Strong communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner
10. Ability to assess situations quickly and take appropriate action
11. Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems (Microsoft Outlook/Word beneficial)
Contact centre experience is beneficial but not essential. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not required.
Ways of working
This is a home‑working role, designed to support flexibility while delivering a high‑quality service to our customers.
Shifts starting from 7pm – 1am & 8pm – 1am.
