Procurement & Commercial Manager – Wind Turbine Generators (WTG)

We are recruiting for a Procurement & Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major offshore wind project in the North Sea. This role will focus on the procurement and commercial management of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) packages.
This is a commercially focused role requiring strong negotiation skills and experience managing high-value supplier contracts.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing procurement and commercial activities relating to WTG packages, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading end-to-end procurement activities for WTG packages
* Managing supplier negotiations and contract award processes
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to project objectives
* Evaluating supplier proposals and ensuring commercial competitiveness
* Managing supplier relationships and performance
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience in procurement and commercial roles within energy or infrastructure projects
* Proven track record of negotiating high-value contracts with major suppliers/OEMs
* Experience working with wind turbine or large equipment packages (desirable)
* Solid understanding of contract frameworks (NEC, FIDIC, or similar)
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
