Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional individual subcontractor cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, including hotels and commercial spaces. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Cleans will take place between 9am - 5pm, Required to travel to areas in South West London/Surrey areas.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and commercial facilities.
* Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and ensuring their satisfaction with cleanliness.
* Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
* Follow established health and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
* MUST be a subcontractor
* Business liability Insurance required
* Fluent in English
* Previous experience in home cleaning is ESSENTIAL (2 years minimum)
* Previous cleaning in commercial cleaning, air bnb or similar roles is preferred but not required.
* Able to use BookingKoala for reminders and booking info (training provided)
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
* Ability to work under predicted cleaning times is desireable
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - MUST be a TEAM PLAYER
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning practices.
