Salary: Competitive Sodexo Benefits Location: Home Based Contract Type: Fixed Term 1 Year (may be option of extension) About the Role As several long‑term PFI contracts approach expiry, Sodexo is seeking an experienced PFI Exit Manager to lead the structured, compliant, and seamless transition of services, assets, and obligations back to our public sector partners.This is a pivotal role, ensuring continuity of services while coordinating complex activities across Government estates. If you're an expert in programme delivery with strong knowledge of PFI, FM operations, and stakeholder management, and you thrive in high‑profile, multi‑project environments, then this role offers a unique opportunity to make an impact at national scale. What You’ll Do Lead multiple PFI exit programmes, ensuring contractual, operational, and commercial obligations are achieved. Apply the Sodexo Project Management Framework (PMF) and PFI Exit Playbook to deliver structured, auditable transition activity. Review and interpret contract terms, translating obligations into clear exit and demobilisation plans. Coordinate asset and service handover activities, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate data, and high‑quality documentation. Build strong relationships with Authority representatives, SPV partners, advisors, and internal stakeholders. Facilitate inspections, technical surveys, workshops, and progress reviews. Manage risks, change controls, and programme governance to meet milestones and mitigate operational or commercial exposure. Produce accurate reporting, ensure evidence‑based delivery, and drive continuous improvement across programmes. What We’re Looking For Project management qualifications such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent. Experience delivering multiple projects or broader change programmes, ideally within PFI or complex FM environments. Strong understanding of FM operations, statutory compliance, and asset management. Proven ability to analyse PFI contracts and translate clauses into exit planning requirements. Exceptional leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills. Confident communicator able to influence diverse internal and external stakeholders. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost modelling. A proactive, self‑starting professional who can work independently and represent Sodexo at a senior level.
