Job Description Deputy Nurse Manager (RGN/RMN) – Luxury Nursing Home Up to £50,000 | 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join a luxury nursing home dedicated to providing exceptional care for older adults, including those living with dementia and complex needs. This role is ideal for a Registered General Nurse (RGN – Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who thrives in leadership, has strong clinical skills, and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of person-centred care. Working closely with the Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a warm, inclusive environment where residents and staff feel valued. What We’re Looking For Registered Nurse qualification ( RGN – Adult or RMN ) with active NMC registration. Proven leadership experience within a nursing home or similar care environment. Strong clinical skills, including care planning, safeguarding, and risk management. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. Experience of regulatory inspections (CQC) and compliance standards in nursing care. A commitment to inclusive, person-centred care and professional development. Deliver and oversee safe, compassionate, and individualised care tailored to residents’ needs and preferences. Assist in managing daily operations, including staffing, medication management, and risk assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor personalised care plans in partnership with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Mentor, support, and train team members, encouraging career growth and clinical excellence. Oversee recruitment, induction, and staff performance to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, infection control, safeguarding protocols, and organisational policies. Contribute to audits, quality monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiatives. Work alongside the Nurse Manager to enhance the overall resident experience and quality of care.
