Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Multi Trade professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to perform various maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operational, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
* Carry out repairs and maintenance across various trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and carry out preventative maintenance.
* Collaborate with other team members to execute larger projects effectively.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Document all work performed and report any major issues to management for further action.
* Assist in the training of junior staff members as required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, or similar fields.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in one or more trades are highly desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to health and safety practices within the workplace.
* Self employed basis, driving licence/car/van needed, fuel cost covered if travelling to more then one location
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.50-£17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week

* Widnes WA8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
