We are looking to welcome a friendly, polite Administrator to join our busy operational team supporting the Place Directorate. In this role, you will be the first port of call for our customers and provide an administrative support service to our Planning, Building Control, Land Charges and Regulatory Officers. You will work to ensure that our systems are maintained to the highest standard to enable the Councils to meet their statutory obligations to protect, enhance and keep our communities safe and vibrant.
Every day will bring with it a variety of work, and there will always be plenty to do, including checking and verifying customer requests, raising sales ledger invoices and purchase orders and undertaking reconciliation and goods receipting. You will also assist in the implementation of new and improving of existing office systems, respond to routine correspondence and enquiries from members of the public, suppliers and staff and provide document scanning and indexing services.
About You
The successful candidate will have administrative experience in a similar or related role, be adaptable and have great communication skills. You will need to be able to multi-task, manage workloads and prioritise effectively across service areas. Attention to detail is essential, as you will need to undertake a range of administrative skills to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of processes.
