The role will involve hands-on production and design work assisting in the design, coordination, development, delivery and production across a diversity of outputs including architectural models, bespoke fit out and furniture, artistic prototypes, sculptural elements, lighting elements, architectural elements, mock ups and samples.
Responsibilities:
1. Bespoke Item Design & Production
* Assist in the development, prototyping, and production of artistic and functional custom pieces (e.g. technologically involved artistic installations, lighting, furniture and sculptural elements).
* Handle, update and produce CAD models (Rhino preferred) for fabrication-ready outputs.
* Collaboration and coordination with fabricators, suppliers and consultants to ensure design integrity.
* Hands-on production from 3D prints to sample production.
2. Interior Architectural Design Coordination
* Assist in the resolution of material and construction detailing for interiors.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers to assist in the translation of designs into buildable solutions.
* Contribute to design documentation (drawings, specs) for efficient execution.
* Develop drawings for prototyping, production, and architectural integration.
* Produce 3D printed architectural models integrating design information for a diversity of sources.
* Adapt workflows for both artistic and technical outputs (e.g., from initial indicative feedback to designers and client to CNC-ready files).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* A hybrid skillset across industrial design, architecture, interiors, CAD, and fabrication—with strengths in at least 3 areas.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Rhino or equivalent.
* Material & Process Knowledge: Experience with a diversity of materials and production processes from digital fabrication to hand craft.
* Design Sensibility: Ability to balance aesthetic vision with functional/constructible solutions.
* Bonus: knowledge in creative technologies (e.g., kinetics, electrical engineering, creative coding).
Why Join Us?
* Work on a diversity of globally significant, one-of-a-kind projects for elite clients.
* Collaborate with a tight-knit, innovative team of artists, designers, and technologists in a dynamic and growing team.
