Here at GXO, were looking for a Warehouse Team Leaders to join our growing site in Selby, with a new contract to the site. Reporting to the Shift Manager, youll lead, coach and support a team of colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality warehouse performance.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent role, with working hours of either 4 on 4 6am to 6pm (Days) or 6pm to 6am (Nights) your preference of shift can be discussed at interview.

What youll do on a typical day:
Lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily KPI targets.
Manage and monitor an effective warehouse operation ensuring SOP compliance is adhered to with all functions.
Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements
Make sure all discrepancies are reported through the appropriate channels & maintain KPI records
Coaching and feedback on individual performance & ensure staff are trained to carry out duties to the required level.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience leading teams in a warehouse or fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication and people-leadership skills
Good working knowledge of warehouse processes and Health & Safety standards
Excellent WMS systems knowledge & Stock experience would be an advantage
A hands-on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills
