Location: 34 The Diamond Rd, Crumlin BT29 4QX
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 7am-6pm over four days.
What does this role involve?
Some of the key duties of the role include:
1. The adherence to formulation protocols covering the manufacture of the full range of Randox liquid products in accordance with the departmental ISO framework.
2. The filtration of liquid diagnostic reagents and buffers.
3. The accurate completion of formulation records for every batch of component manufactured.
4. The operation and routine maintenance of various types of departmental equipment and analytical instrumentation.
5. The accurate use and maintenance of the Tetra (Sage) stock control system.
6. The alerting of the Liquid Formulation Supervisor to any problems in the manufacture of a product.
7. Assisting in the training of staff in departmental procedures and systems.
8. Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
Who can apply?
Essential criteria:
9. Qualified to degree level.
10. Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
11. Excellent verbal and communication skills.
12. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
13. Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft packages
Desirable:
14. Working knowledge of quality systems.
15. Working knowledge of Health & Safety including CoSHH
