Job Description
We are seeking a committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Coventry.
This role involves working closely with pupils with additional needs, providing 1:1 and small group support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Support learning across the classroom and adapted activities
* Assist with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
* Help manage behaviour and emotional regulation needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting)
* Calm, patient and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties (desirable)
* Level 2/3 TA qualification preferred but not essential
