Job Description
3. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
4. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
5. Support the Management Accounts Manager with month-end delivery
6. Produce accurate management accounts to strict deadlines
7. Analyse and explain variances against budgets and forecasts
8. Present monthly financial insights to senior management
9. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset register
10. Support budgeting, VAT returns, and ONS submissions
11. Identify risks, opportunities, and potential cost savings
12. Mentor team members and support their development
13. Maintain and improve finance systems and controls
14. Provide P&L support to non-finance stakeholders
15. Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required
The Successful Applicant
16. Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets
17. Advanced Excel capability
18. Confident communicator with strong written skills
19. Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement
20. Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards
21. Comfortable working with financial systems (e.g. Sun, Coupa, SIS)
