We are looking for anumber of Laboratory Techniciansfor a12-month contractbased inBristolon behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs.
Purpose of the Role:
You will support the manufacturing process applicable to manufacture across a wide range of products, processes and suppliers. You will instruct, develop and scrutinise manufacturing special processes such as metallurgical joining processes (EBW & TIG), diffusion bonding, chemical processes (cleaning, etching), and non-destructive testing (FPI, X-ray).
What you'll do:
1. Supportcoating and machining processes(e.g. aluminising, Pt plating, LVPS and APS plasma spray and PVD coatings, EDM/LASER, heat treatment, brazing, grinding and TIG welding
