Randstad Education: Year 2 Teacher Opportunity - September 2025
Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join a vibrant school team. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity starting in September 2025, initially for one term, with the strong potential for extension based on your performance and the school's needs. We are looking for a passionate educator committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 2 students, following the national curriculum.
* Assess and track student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback to students and parents.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of every student.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, specifically with Key Stage 1 pupils.
* Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* The ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
