What the Job Involves The role of a Senior Practitioner involves mentoring, coaching, and supervising aspiring social workers while providing support to vulnerable children and young people within Hillingdon. You will manage and assess caseloads with high levels of autonomy, focusing on safety, risk management, and implementing effective safety plans. You will use specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions funded by the council, maintain professional registration, and collaborate with different agencies. Regular supervision and reflective practice are part of your job, along with preparation of court proceedings reports and participation in management activities to deliver team plans.
