We are a specialist Special Educational Needs provision supporting young people aged 11–18 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). We work collaboratively within a network committed to exceeding the holistic needs of every learner. Our dedicated and compassionate staff team is at the heart of everything we do. Together, we prepare students for life beyond education, empowering them to develop independence, confidence and skills for adulthood.
As a Student Support Assistant, you will:
* Support students aged 11–18 with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties.
* Work alongside qualified teachers and specialist staff to deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences.
* Provide individual and small group support tailored to students’ educational, social and emotional needs.
* Assist with personal care and medical needs where required.
* Contribute to behaviour support strategies and positive communication approaches.
* Help prepare students for adulthood, including supporting independent living skills.
* Play an active role in off-site learning and educational visits.
Students are grouped according to learning needs to ensure the most appropriate teaching approach, while always considering age and social development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
