About the Cover Supervisor Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will gain hands-on classroom experience in secondary schools, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Your responsibilities as a Cover Supervisor will include:
1. Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
2. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment
3. Supporting students across a range of subjects (no specialist subject knowledge required)
4. Ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence
