Job Title: Experienced Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham, Lancashire
Salary: £89 per day
Contract Type: Full Time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities
 * Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing educational activities.
 * Work closely with students who have special educational needs, adapting methods to suit individual requirements.
 * Help manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
 * Be attentive and responsive to the individual needs of students, offering tailored support and encouragement.
 * Encourage and monitor the progress and development of the children.
 * Contribute to the creation of resources and materials to support learning.
 * Liaise with other professionals, such as social workers, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists, to support the well-being of the students.
 * Maintain accurate records of student progress and wellbeing.
 * Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
 * Must have a valid DBS on the update service.
 * Proven UK-based experience as a Teaching Assistant.
 * Experience working with challenging classes and exhibiting strong behavior management.
 * In-depth understanding and experience working with special needs students.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating both patience and empathy.
 * Proactivity in meeting the needs of students and the ability to take initiative.
 * Available to work full-time hours, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
