About The Opportunity
The Senior Planner will be responsible for:
Project Scheduling Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
Resource Management Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and timelines
Progress Monitoring Track progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule
Reporting Prepare and present regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks
Compliance Ensure activities comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards
Risk Management Identify and mitigate risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation
Collaboration Work with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure seamless project execution
Documentation Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records
What you’ll need
️ Project Management Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects
️ Primavera P6 Proficiency Advanced knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management
️ NEC Awareness Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its application in construction projects
️ Analytical Skills Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address project issues
️ Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
️ Attention to Detail High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and reports
️ Team Player Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships
️ Travel Flexibility Willingness and ability to travel to client sites across the UK as needed
️ Degree qualified and holding certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar
