Role Profile – Logistics Advisor Purpose: At the forefront of our industry-leading vehicle recycling process, the Customer Service & Logistics team is responsible for arranging the collection of vehicles to be brought back to one of our hubs for processing. You will be working with us at our rapidly expanding Poole site, based in Parkstone. Location: Poole Site Salary: From £23,809.50 Working Hours: 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday Reporting to: Transport Manager Duties & Responsibilities: Playing a key role in sourcing vehicles for our auction platform and recycled parts network Confident using negotiation skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical details simply and clearly to customers over the telephone Ability to quickly build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse customer base. Receiving inbound and outbound calls from customers Raising invoices and taking payments. Generating vehicle quotations as requested. Adhering to SLAs, ensuring customers are contacted in a timely manner. Adhering to ISO Standards. Communicate with other internal departments to ensure smooth operations company-wide. Experience & Essential Qualities: Exceptional customer service skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills via all mediums Active listener Ability to work under pressure Must be confident in multitasking Administration, numeracy, and IT skills, with meticulous attention to detail Experience using Microsoft Suite – Excel, Outlook, Word Ability to effectively organise, prioritise workload, and to achieve internal and external deadlines Adaptable to continuous improvement in processes and systems Knowledge of vehicles is highly desirable but not essential as training will be given.
