Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Store Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Charlton store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and retail administration. As a Store sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service, managing incoming and outgoing calls and liaising with the management team to make the customers after sales journey as smooth as possible.
Responsibilities:
* Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed throughout their shopping experience.
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed.
* Handle transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
* Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and reporting discrepancies as necessary.
* Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Skills:
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
* Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
* Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
* Organisational skills to maintain a tidy work environment and manage stock effectively.
* A proactive approach to selling, with a focus on upselling products where appropriate.
Experience:
* Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
* customer service: 1 year (preferred)
