Have you ever led a logistics operation that keeps two busy sites running seamlessly, where every pallet, delivery and stock movement has its place, and people look to you when they need clarity and direction?
As Head of Logistics, you’ll take ownership of everything that keeps this operation moving. From goods-in and raw material storage to transport, subcontract logistics and exports, this role covers the full journey and it needs someone who thrives in complexity.
You’ll be leading a logistics and warehouse function across two sites, one a busy factory and the other a large distribution hub, both feeding into a wider global group. That means balancing the pace of a hands-on, high-performing local operation with the structure and reporting standards that come from working in an international environment.
You’ll build a strong, safety-first culture where people feel supported but accountable. You’ll streamline processes, strengthen compliance, and make sure every part of the logistics chain runs as efficiently as possible. Whether it’s developing your team leaders, embedding continuous improvement, or partnering with production and procurement to solve a supply bottleneck... you’ll be the calm, steady influence that keeps everything connected.
This isn’t a role for someone who hides behind spreadsheets. You’ll be visible, approachable, and hands-on when needed, but strategic enough to see what’s coming next. You’ll also bring experience from a larger global manufacturing or engineering business, ideally with some exposure to metals or complex materials and a solid understanding of logistics processes, imports, exports and subcontract manufacturing flows.
If you’re a Head of logistics who enjoys leading from the front, shaping efficient operations and building teams that perform with pride, this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
