We are PHA, a leading integrated comms agency with offices in London, Manchester, Leeds and Boston. Founded in 2005 by our Chairman and former newspaper editor Phil Hall, we have evolved to offer public relations, creative activations, social media, and digital marketing services to our enviable client roster.
We are now looking for a passionate, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Junior Account Executive to join our growing Healthcare team. You can expect to support clients in the B2C healthcare/wellbeing space, private clinical services, women’s health, telehealth, health product and health charities.

What you will be doing?
Client responsibilities
1. Delivery of high-quality coverage across multiple client accounts.
2. Share regular coverage result updates with clients to showcase success.
3. Play an active role in morning media scanning and take responsibility for ensuring clients receive updates in a timely manner.
4. Develop writing skills, becoming proficient in first drafts of basic communications materials (e.g. media pitches, client emails, press releases, case study overviews) and building an understanding of how to write for different audiences
5. Proactively ensure client-facing documents are accurate and up to date, such as WIP documents, coverage logs, reports, etc.
6. Play an active role in meetings and videocalls – preparing agendas, accurately documenting and circulating actions, and starting calls promptly with materials ready to be shared
Growth
7. Support senior team members with research into new areas for business development within the healthcare practice.
People management
8. Start to develop upward management skills, communicating successes and flagging issues/challenges to Account Managers at the earliest opportunity.
Industry knowledge
9. Develop a broad understanding of the healthcare sector.
10. Develop a broad understanding of the media landscape, including national newspapers, broadcast channels, relevant trade media outlets, social media channels, and digital marketing tools.
11. Shadow senior colleagues at media meetings to start to learn skills around building contacts and media relationships.
Agency responsibilities
12. Participate in agencywide activities and initiatives to build relationships with colleagues, to include All Staff training, social events, and internal seminars relevant to level.
13. Regularly attend role-specific training organised through the PHA Academy.
