Process Analytical Chemist / Chemical Engineer
Location: Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire (OX11 0RL) - 3 days per week on-site and occasional international travel for customer visits and conferences
Working Hours: 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Analysing customer samples in the lab to create datasets for model development
* Building chemometric models to demonstrate the IRmadillo’s capabilities
* Working directly with customers to implement and troubleshoot models
* Supporting the sales team by explaining spectroscopy and understanding customer chemistry
* Helping customers integrate spectrometers with their plant control systems
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot trends or issues in data
* A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn and contribute across the team
* Awareness of the chemical and biotech industries
* Interest or basic understanding of chemometrics (don’t worry—we’ll help you learn!)
* Practical experience with spectroscopy, analytical chemistry, or chemical processes (e.g., through coursework, projects, or internships)
