SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – LONDON

About the Role
This role is ideal for an experienced, talented, and ambitious Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Sustainability Consultants, and CAD/BIM Technicians on a variety of projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the electrical design and delivery of building services projects
* Manage and mentor junior engineers and support staff
* Attend design and site meetings; act as the main point of contact for project delivery
* Conduct technical surveys of existing electrical installations and recommend system improvements
* Coordinate project teams and ensure timely, high-quality output
* Provide input on project scope, budgeting, and reporting in collaboration with clients and internal teams
* Support business development, including assisting with bid and fee proposal preparation
* Deliver technical reports, specifications, and presentations
* Assist in team building and fostering a collaborative work environment
Experience & Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Chartered status (or working towards it) is preferred
* Minimum 5 years' experience in building services consultancy
* Proven leadership in project delivery and team management
* Strong knowledge of:
* Electrical distribution and LV systems
* Lighting and emergency lighting
* ELV, life safety, and security systems
* AV/IT systems and data distribution
* Renewable technologies
* Experience across a range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Science & Technology, Commercial, Residential, Mixed Use, and Hospitality
* Confident communicator, able to present ideas to clients and project teams
