Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Yard Operative to join our client based in Aldridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team in a hands-on, active role involving both indoor and outdoor work.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Operating FLT counterbalance
* Carry out stock rotation using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
* Load and unload vehicles and containers, ensuring all stock movements are documented accurately
* Conduct general warehouse and yard duties
* Ensure all vehicle loading complies with company procedures and legal transport regulations
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment, both indoors and outdoors
* Keeping the workspaces in the warehouse clean and tidy
* Comply with all Health & Safety and Quality regulations
* Work collaboratively with the production team to support smooth operations and communication
* Positively contribute to business performance and ongoing improvement initiatives
Skills
* Valid FLT License Counterbalance is essential
* 2 yrs experience on the FLT
* Production experience
* Computer literate
* Team player
* Good Communication skills
* Comfortable working in a complex, challenging and fast-paced environment
