Job summary Are you a dynamic and experienced Administrator with a passion for operational excellence in healthcare administration? We are looking for a motivated and proactive Operations Assistant to join our Care Group Leadership Team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). The Operations Assistant provides a vital and professional coordination function to support the effective running of the Care Group and associated leadership team. The role requires a dynamic and highly organised individual who can manage complex and confidential information, support governance processes, and foster effective communication between senior leaders, internal, and external stakeholders. Acting as a trusted support partner to the Care Group Leadership Team, the post holder will manage meeting logistics, produce high-quality documentation, track key actions and decisions, oversee recruitment processes and provide project coordination support across a wide range of strategic and operational priorities. Main duties of the job The postholder will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day executive and administrative functions of the Care Group Leadership Team, ensuring the smooth running of leadership operations. Acting as a central point of contact for care group matters, the postholder will communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong working relationships. They will be responsible for complex diary management and planning, particularly during periods of absence or increased workload. The role also includes supporting preparations for key Care Group meetings and ensuring the Care Group adheres to quality standards and complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. The post holder will manage the Care Group Health Rosters, inclusive of allocating staff work patterns, annual leave, sickness, maternity, retirement, new starters and leavers so will need a good understanding of those processes. They will assist in managing ESRs and recruitment processes when required. A key aspect of the role involves providing core administrative support, including the organisation of Care Group meetings and forums, with oversight of actions using digital tools to ensure accountability and progress tracking.
