: The opportunity: A key role in the successful delivery of IT projects into our business in a safe and robust manner. The IT Service Transition Lead will join a team of professionals, providing assurance through managing Operational Readiness for a range of IT project implementations. With a large portfolio of projects being delivered through our SIAM model, this role is critical to ensure the overall success of the project objectives and ultimately the continued growth of the Leonardo business. What you'll do as a IT Service Transition Lead Work with the project manager to initiate new project activity defining key operational deliverables. Through project checkpoints, ensure that the key operational deliverables are developing in line with project maturity. At the point of implementation assess operational readiness of new project implementations to ensure standards are achieved before they transition into Service Operations Understand, anticipate and influence customer demand for IT services Manage the release process into operations for new IT Operations capability Ensure change in the IT estate is managed to minimise risk and impact to business services Ensure IT operational needs are communicated and understood by peers Understand corporate direction on IT developments What we need from you: Knowledge and experience in the IT Service Transition lifecycle stage / processes In-depth knowledge of service transition principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a strong understanding of the ITIL framework. Proven experience in leading IT service transition activities, in a physical and cloud environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence decision-making. Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality service transition that meets business objectives and customer expectations.
