Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality services to enable clients with complex needs to move towards recovery. Leading our Supported Housing team, you will have knowledge of the support needs of people who have experienced multiple disadvantage and experience of developing and leading high performing teams.
Main duties of the job
Youll work in a psychologically and trauma informed way and be able to develop culture of reflective problem solving and shared learning. Having a background in supported housing or a related field, you will build and develop meaningful relationships with key partners and stakeholders in line with Second Steps values.

Ensuring clients and staff feel safe and supported Cultivating a culture of hope and courage Ensuring that swift action is taken in the event of incidents or underperformance, with all necessary procedures followed Ensure that robust data collection and monitoring systems are in place and followed by all staff To ensure that an excellent reputation is built for Supported Housing Services amongst clients, Second Step and wider partners. This includes representing Second Step at wider system meetings Embedding service user involvement across the service
Person Specification
Experience
Essential
1. Minimum of 2 years proven experience supervising effective teams
2. 3 years significant experience working with people with mental health needs
3. Experience of addressing under performance on an individual and service level
4. Experience of managing commissioned services and operating within such a framework
5. Experience of using a CRM system
Desirable
6. Lived experience of mental health services
7. Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing
