I'm looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning fire protection business based in Harlow.
What you will be doing:
1. Month end invoicing and application.
2. Ensure progress and variation information is being captured for accurate reporting .
3. Final account agreement, retention and cash collection
4. Maintain strong customer relations with opposite number
5. Forecast reporting
6. Job cost P&L reporting ensuring correct allocation of costs and revenue.
7. Cost to completes (CVR) on job by job basis
8. Ad-hoc support with Finance department
9. Non labour only subcontract management.
10. Pricing support for BULs and large tender/framework pricing
11. Price list management and negotiation with standard suppliers
12. Supplier procurement for large ticket purchases
13. Enforcement of CFS payment terms
14. Other Ad-hoc tasks that consummate with the role
Experience:
15. Minimum 3 years experience at assistant level
16. Cost control and billing to final account agreement
17. Working in a fast paced environment
18. Dealing with challenges effectively and professionally
19. Dealing with contractors and clients Quantity Surveyors
20. Proficient in MS Excel.
21. Commercial Risk mitigation
Qualifications:
22. Qualified or working towards commercially related qualification
23. A good understanding of the skill set required for the role
The salary is £50,000 to £60,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
