Overview
Cirencester design role with opportunities at various levels from Designer to Associate Designer within Pegasus Group’s Design team in Cirencester. As part of a leading UK multi-disciplinary development consultancy, Pegasus Group’s Design consultancy works on significant projects across the UK, including large-scale urban extensions, area regeneration strategies, renewable energy and residential schemes.
We’re looking for talented Senior Urban Designers and Senior Architectural Assistants to join our Design service team in Cirencester, with potential progression across all offices.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and oversee conceptual urban design and planning work, feasibility studies, master planning, development briefs and design strategies for residential and mixed-use schemes for developers and private clients.
What Are We Looking For
* Experienced Designers at intermediate, Senior, Principal and Associate levels to join our Design team.
* Hold a relevant qualification in design.
* Experience in private practice/consultancy or a commercial housebuilding operation.
* Visioning and masterplanning for large and small sites.
* A commercially astute approach to residential layout design.
* Producing drawn and written information in support of outline, full and reserved matters planning applications.
* Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills.
* Self-motivated with an excellent eye for detail.
* Working knowledge of elements of the planning system that affect design and the ability to adapt to local authority design guidance.
* Knowledge of CAD software packages; Vectorworks experience would be an advantage.
