An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Specialty PA in Urology for 6 month maternity cover. The Specialty PA is an integral part of the Urology team and provides a wide range of care with a focus on efficiency and quality service.
Working as part of a team, the post-holder will provide a high quality administrative service to consultants and their teams. You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, and be well motivated and reliable.

Responsibilities
* Provide high quality administrative service and support to consultants and their teams.
* Understand and accurately convey verbal and written information, remain calm under pressure, and work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.
* Accurately transcribe clinical letters using BigHand, producing high quality work within defined deadlines.
Qualifications
* Obtained 5 GCSE passes, including English Language and Maths at grade C or above.
* Word processing or typing qualification (or experience) and NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.
* Excellent audio typing skills, competent in the use of Microsoft packages.
* Work‑based experience within a hospital or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
