Electrical Installer - Hampshire

You’ll bring your proven track record of carrying out electrical installations in domestic dwellings to support the Hampshire electrical team. Your work will be scheduled for you, and jobs will be shared via an electronic handheld device (your PDA), so comfort with technology and IT systems is essential.
You’ll mainly work independently, so confidence working on your own initiative is important, but you will receive support from our regional supervisors. The team also meets regularly for toolbox talks and training sessions.
A company vehicle will be provided for travel within our communities, so a full UK driving licence is required. As you may be in various locations in one day, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and get to know the wider Hampshire region.
You should have a “can do” attitude and a commitment to first-time service excellence. Providing high-quality service and being the friendly face of Aster to our customers is key.
About You
* You’ll be a fully qualified electrician, holding an AM2 qualification or equivalent, and a 2391 city & guilds or equivalent qualification, with demonstrable experience in domestic electrical installations.
* You will carry out inspection and testing to British standards, advising on progress and completing all necessary records in both hard and electronic formats.
* Understanding and adherence to safety regulations is critical, and you will carry out all works in line with these standards.
* You’ll be motivated, customer-focused, and pride yourself on your workmanship. Good problem-solving and installation skills are essential, along with the ability to contribute to excellent customer service and satisfaction.
* Effective communication, both verbal and written, is necessary. You should be willing to meet face-fit requirements and participate in an out-of-hours standby rota within your region.
* Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently is important, along with a flexible approach to work.
