Supplier Relationship Manager – Tesco Insurance & Money Services
Location: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Reigate or Southampton – Hybrid working (2 days per week in office).
Salary: £56,000 – 64,000 (DOE) + annual bonus & benefits.
We’re recruiting for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join our Outsourcing & Supply Chain Management team. You’ll be responsible for driving compliance with our framework, providing commercial value and ensuring effective governance of third‑party suppliers to support Motor Claims operations.
Responsibilities
* Fully understand the services provided by third parties to IMS, engage relevant internal stakeholders and report on performance, service and risk exposures.
* Ensure appropriate governance of services, maintain and update the management framework and enforce adherence in BAU.
* Liaise with key business areas for budget forecasting and queries on actuals.
* Manage business services and ensure they are regularly reviewed, with updates made in line with contract approval processes.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in service processing and adherence to the Outsourcing & Supply Chain Management framework.
* Identify shortcomings and improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, and ensure delivery of efficiency outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Background in client relationship or supplier management within the Motor Claims/Insurance industry.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the business.
* Experience managing motor supplier partners and their impact within the supply chain and motor claims operations.
* Adaptability to changing priorities, with a sense of urgency and high energy.
* Contract management experience – identifying efficiencies and managing through approval procedures.
* Risk and issue management – identify, evaluate and appropriately escalated risks, issues, dependencies and constraints.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience driving performance in line with contractual SLAs, KPIs and reporting.
Desirable
* Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
