Year 5 Teacher - Summer Term Location: Leicester (Primary School Setting) Contract Type: Full-Time (5 Days Per Week), Temporary Start Date: Summer Term We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school team for the Summer Term. This is a full-time role, working five days per week, offering an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported classroom with continuity of planning already in place. All planning resources from previous years are saved and available, meaning the majority of preparation will involve reviewing and tweaking existing materials rather than creating schemes from scratch. This provides a fantastic foundation, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and learning. You will also benefit from the support of another experienced teacher within the phase, ensuring collaboration, shared expertise, and guidance where needed. PPA time will be allocated in line with statutory requirements. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 desirable) * Strong classroom management skills * The ability to adapt and refine existing planning effectively * A positive, proactive approach to teamwork * Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT looking to work within a supportive environment where collaboration and shared resources are valued.
