Senior Project Manager – Manchester (hybrid working with UK wide site visits) • Permanent
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects from inception to completion. This role oversees planning, budgeting, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The Role
You’ll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate contractors and clients, and ensure compliance with quality and ISO standards. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also mentor Project Managers and Apprentices, supporting their professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead construction projects from start to finish.
* Develop and monitor project plans, budgets, and schedules.
* Conduct regular reviews and site visits to track progress.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
* Build strong relationships with clients and contractors.
* Support, coach, and review the performance of junior team members.
About You
* Proven experience managing construction projects through all stages.
* Previous experience working for a consultancy or client-side organisation.
* Strong commercial and financial understanding.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Experience managing and developing junior staff.
* Knowledge of ISO and quality compliance.
