Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team in the outpatient team at the Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorder Service. The post is based at Forest Grange, Bennion Centre, Leicester. The service assesses and treats patients with clinical eating disorders using NICE approved treatments. The role will be based in our research office and will support the service with service evaluation and research. Clinical contact will be limited but work with data and research will be extensive. The service has a dedicated research and service evaluation team ensuring that the team is constantly improving, reflecting and developing for the good of patients. We have a strong culture of research and a continuous drive for improving quality, and there is plentiful opportunity to contribute to our ongoing research and development programme. Experience of using Excel and awareness of NHS patient systems will be an advantage.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work primarily with data.
• Overseeing the collection of outcome measures from patients, supporting with translating these into summaries for clinicians.
• Collection and analysis of patient experience data to share with staff and management through reports
• On-going evaluation of the service and its quality improvement work will form part of the role.
• Communication of findings to staff, patients and commissioners both verbally and via written reports.
• Support with audits and research studies. You will also be able to take part in our weekly CPD programme, where we have an extensive range of internal and external speakers.
