IMH Recruitment is currently seeking a Technical Business Support Officer to join our client based in Rotherham (S60). This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and adaptable individual to provide vital support during a period of absence within the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Business Support
* Manage and respond to MP correspondence, submitting responses to relevant officers
* Handle incoming queries and ensure timely and appropriate resolution
* Provide general administrative support across the service
Financial & Technical Support
* Raise purchase orders and assist with financial processes when required
* Support technical aspects of service delivery and wider team functions
External Engagement
* Liaise with external partners, councillors, neighbourhood teams, and local agencies
* Attend meetings with police, housing officers, and community representatives
* Support community engagement activities, including occasional resident meetings
Skills & Experience Required:
* Business Support Level 2 or 3 Qualification.
* Strong written communication skills, including formal correspondence
* Excellent administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to attend the office when required
Working Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Availability required between 7:00am – 7:00pm
(Typical working hours: 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm, to be discussed at interview)
* £13.69 per hour.
* Hybrid working – minimum of 3 days on-site (flexibility required)
* Weekly pay while working through the agency!
