Brief Description
LE12 7LP This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
Qualifications Required
GCSEs at A-C or 4‑9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course. For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Training to be Provided
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.
Job Responsibilities
* Engage with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services and advice.
* Assist in dispensing prescription medicines.
* Provide over-the-counter medication advice.
* Assist with minor ailments.
* Perform housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment.
* Order pharmaceutical stock.
* Gain experience in retail and learn about over‑the‑counter medicines.
* Help deliver a variety of public health services.
Driver Requirement
We are looking for somebody within 35 minutes of the pharmacy. If you are able to drive, please make this clear on your CV.
