Are you a Business Development Coordinatorlooking to join a team with a pivotal role in the expansion of their sales team?The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record and a solid understanding of the construction procurement processes including tender submissions.This role is perfect for someone who is tenacious, inquisitive, and has a passion for building brand reputation and market share.
Day to day duties:
* Track opportunities and projects using industry portals.
* Log and schedule enquiries on the tender log.
* Identify new and future opportunities to enhance business growth.
* Develop relationships with new clients to receive enquiries and be placed on tender lists.
* Assist with the management of marketing activities and social media presence.
* Contribute to the content and updates of the company website.
* Log and track enquiries to submission in coordination with the estimating team.
* Stay informed about industry developments and projects.
* Aim to achieve placement of the company on major client tender databases.
* Work in line with the company’s management system, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven sales track record, preferably in the construction sector.
* Understanding of construction procurement processes.
* Confident and positive telephone manner.
* Good IT knowledge, including proficiency in relevant software.
* Marketing knowledge with experience in managing social media and online content.
* Inquisitive and tenacious approach to business development.
* Solid understanding of branding principles.
* Some construction industry-related experience is highly desirable.
