General Cover Teachers – Secondary Schools – Maidstone
We are currently seeking a number of flexible and reliable General Cover Teachers to support a variety of secondary schools in the Maidstone area on a day-to-day supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators who enjoy working across different school environments and subject areas.
The Role
Provide classroom cover in the absence of the regular teacher
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, including Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, and more
Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment
Ensure continuity of learning and uphold school behaviour policies
Candidate Requirements
An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Previous experience delivering lessons or covering classes in a secondary school setting
A genuine passion for working with young people
Punctual, dependable, and professional
