Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contractor Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Client Accounts team. The role involves managing and resolving accounts queries, supporting clients, and ensuring departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist Branch staff and Contractors with accounts and remittance queries via telephone and Help Desk.
* Set up & amend Contractors records on PropCo, including updating bank details and archiving inactive contractors.
* Maintain records of licenses, certifications, and accreditations, ensuring compliance.
* Import contractor records from acquisitions and communicate changes impacting them.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies through process improvements.
* Perform other ad hoc Client Accounts tasks.

* Strong numerical skills and ability to explain calculations clearly.
* Ability to build relationships with property managers and staff.
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with good prioritization skills.
* Experience in property or client accounting roles.
* Proactive problem-solving skills to enhance client experience.
* Understanding of the residential lettings sector and client accounting roles.
