As a Fund Servicing Associate within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational services related to fund accounting and administration. Job responsibilities
1. Execute routine transactions related to fund servicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
2. Collaborate with operations and financial controllers to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in fund servicing operations.
3. Foster a collaborative environment by leveraging emotional intelligence skills to build trusting relationships with peers, managers, and stakeholders.
4. Propose and implement improvements to current working methods, contributing to the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform.
5. Deliver standard audit support package and actively monitor and respond to inquiries during the reporting/audit cycles
6. Act as point of contact for Fund Accounting for internal and external stake holders in relation to audit and reporting cycles. Participate in video calls and in-person meetings with external auditors and clients
7. Monitor subsequent accounting activity, prepare general ledger adjusting entries
8. Analyze accounting records and be able to clearly articulate fund accounting transactions/processes to clients, external audit firms, and internal business partners.
9. Have knowledge of internal systems, operations, and client structures, ., various types of portfolios, deliverables, and client specific requirements
10. Have knowledge of end-to-end fund accounting such as trades and corporate action processing, pricing, income accruals, etc. to respond to auditor and internal inquiries
11. Independently research and respond to auditor and internal inquiries in a timely manner. Participate on calls and in-person meetings with external auditors and clients
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
12. Demonstrated expertise in fund servicing operations, with at least three years of experience focusing on fund accounting and administration, evidenced by successful execution of related tasks and responsibilities.
13. Advanced emotional intelligence skills, with a track record of building trusting relationships and fostering collaboration in a professional setting.
14. Experience in proposing and implementing process improvements, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and resilience in an operational environment.
15. Proven ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs effectively.
16. Experience interacting directly with clients and/or auditor
