An excellent opportunity for a Company Secretarial Supervisor to join a team of highly experienced accountants and tax professionals.
You will be providing a wide range of company secretarial services to clients ensuring their compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Their clients are varied, and you will have the opportunity to develop client relationships.
The position will be looking after clients with the following key responsibilities:
* Liaising with companies and colleagues to obtain information of Persons of Significant Control (“PSC”) and changes in PSC for filing with Companies House
* Checking, completing and the filing of annual Confirmation Statements
* Completing forms for changes of director and shareholder
* Completing forms for changes of company name, year-end, etc
* Assisting clients with company incorporations
* Assisting with share issues and share transfers for clients
* Experience in the reorganisation of share capital, including purchase of own shares and sub-division of shares- experience is desirable but not essential
* Maintaining the share registers, including preparing minutes for routine matters
* Filing of other forms with Companies House
* General company administration and maintenance of statutory records on the Firms client database
* Carrying out company searches via online facilities
* Any other duties necessary
About you
* Experience in a Company Secretarial role in a professional services Firm, Accountancy or legal practice as a previously dedicated role or key function of an existing role
* Graduate, associate or fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA) desirable but not essential
* Passionate about offering a high-quality service to clients
* Self-motivated and able to use own initiative, with strong attention to detail an essential attribute for this role
* Able to work effectively in a busy practice environment and ensure deadlines are met
* Commercial awareness and excellent time management
* Comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels
* Approachable with a willingness to assist and support colleagues
* Working knowledge of IRIS Software preferable, but not essential

* Part time role with exact hours to be agreed (FTE 37.5 hours per week Mon-Thurs 8.00am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 1.30pm) with a full time role considered
