We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with expertise in HPE enterprise hardware, backup technologies, and enterprise-level networking.
The ideal candidate will also have worked for organisations operating a hybrid co-location approach and be comfortable operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the manufacturing industry. This role reports directly into the Head of IT Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support enterprise infrastructure using the HPE technologies stack
* Maintain and administer HPE Synergy and HPE BladeSystem platforms
* Support and maintain HPE Rack Servers
* Administer HPE Primera and HPE StoreOnce storage solutions
* Implement and manage Veeam Backup & Replication
* Maintain a strong understanding of enterprise networking architecture
* Perform patching, firmware upgrades, capacity planning, and lifecycle management
* Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation and operational runbooks
Technical Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Hands-on experience with HPE Synergy, HPE BladeSystem, HPE Primera, and HPE StoreOnce
* Solid understanding of enterprise networking, including subnetting, firewalls, and WAN
* Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
* Experience supporting Exchange Online environments
* Virtualisation experience using VMware or Hyper-V
Desirable:
* Experience with Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, networking, and storage
* Understanding of Azure identity and access management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
* Exposure to the manufacturing sector
* Experience with Citrix
* Hands-on experience with Fortinet devices, particularly FortiGate firewalls
