Multi drop van driver

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for Delivery Van Drivers for our companies within UB postcode areas (Uxbridge / Greenford / Southall / Hayes / West Drayton etc)

ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED

PAYE£13.75 to £16.55 per hour (inc. holiday pay)Guaranteed 8 hours pay a day
Overtime after 9+ hours (breaks are not paid)

Day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends) start times between 5:30 and 8am

Duties expected of a Van Driver:

Multi-drop deliveries of high-end products (Cars/Vans, Catering Equipment, Plant and Tool hire Equipment, Alcohol) in and around the M25 and Central London

Deliveries/collections to and from both customers and suppliers

Preparing customer orders prior to dispatch and assist with loading and unloading items

Secure loads using ratchet straps - must have experience!

Some companies require constant heaving lifting for deliveries/collections! (lifting heavy items for a distant and up/down stairs)
