Resourcing Manager\n\n12 month contract\n\nReading/Home\n\nMBNL is embarking on one of the most ambitious transformation activities in its history. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our organisation by bringing in fresh skills, diverse perspectives, and strong leadership capabilities aligned with our new behaviours and strategic direction.\n\nTo support this transformation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resourcing Manager to drive excellence across our hiring processes, employer branding, and talent strategy. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2-3 days per week based in our Central Reading office.\n\nResponsibilities of the Resourcing Manager include:\n\nDesign and deliver recruitment campaigns (in partnership with our recruitment MSP) to attract top talent to MBNL.\nCreate compelling employer branding content to support both programme-specific and BAU recruitment efforts.\nRedesign recruitment processes and tools to reflect our new behaviours and competencies, to ensure fairness, modernity, and strategic alignment.\nRevise traditional role profiles and define new talent pools to unlock fresh talent beyond telecoms, especially in the Infrastructure, Utilities, Power, Rail and Asset Management space.\nBuild hiring manager capability across the business, including tools and training to support inclusive and effective recruitment.\nEmbed EDI principles throughout recruitment, onboarding, and internal mobility processes.\nReview and optimise supplier relationships to ensure recruitment strategies are tailored for an infrastructure management organisation.\nIdentify opportunities for early careers programmes, internships, and work experience to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
\n\nThe successful Resourcing Manager will have:\n\nProven business partnering experience in recruitment strategy, talent acquisition, and employer branding gained within an Infrastructure or Operational Asset Management focused organisation.\nAbility to direct and support hiring managers to define roles and selection criteria.\nA strong understanding of EDI and how to embed it into recruitment practices.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.\nExperience working with external recruitment partners and managing supplier performance.\nA passion for transforming recruitment to attract diverse, high-calibre talent. \n\nTo apply for the Resourcing Manager please send your CV to (url removed)\n\nProject People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
