People Services Administrator Contract: Shared Hub & Recruitment (P&C) Location: Bolton, BS6 6SU Hours of work: 37.5 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a People Services Administrator to join our People & Culture team, delivering first‑class HR administration that enhances the employee experience. This role maintains high and visible contact with stakeholders, enabling clear communication and representing the function through exemplary customer service. You will complete work efficiently and accurately, ensuring all activity aligns with internal governance and statutory requirements.
Job Description
The role will also support our P&C helpdesk, acting as a central point of contact and redirecting queries to the relevant teams. Where appropriate, you will provide information directly (e.g., apprenticeship details) and support teams managing their own internal queries.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across the UK&I People & Culture remit, including preparing and issuing employee contracts and letters.
* Support people change processes and offboarding, contributing to projects and assignments as required.
* Deliver exceptional customer service through clear, professional communication with employees and managers.
* Manage key lifecycle administration, including pre-boarding, contract amendments, offboarding documentation, and maintaining accurate employee files.
* Respond to enquiries via shared mailboxes and provide helpdesk support, ensuring timely resolution or redirection.
* Work with Payroll, Vetting and internal teams to meet processing deadlines, ensure compliance, and maintain complete document bundles.
* Gather data for Data Subject Access Requests and uphold GDPR and compliance standards across all work.
* Update People & Culture systems with employee information and ensure documentation and records meet compliance controls.

* Passion for delivering first-class, professional customer service.
* Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
* IT proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence working with data; proficient touch typing.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting the team.
* Awareness of GDPR and Data Subject Access Requests.
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
