About the role

We are looking for two Contract Leads to join us as Contract Lead Electrical & Building Systems. In this role you will support the Complex M&E Team Lead – Electrical & Building Systems in the efficient delivery of the Group’s Repairs, Maintenance and Capital Works via our supporting contractors. Focused nationally, you will act as an escalation point for contractor performance and Health & Safety around delivery.

* Ensure the service is customer‑focused, efficient and offers value for money for the Group.
* Adhere to KPIs and financial targets set by the Group.
* Manage day‑to‑day organization, scheduling, supervision and the safety, technical standard and quality of the works carried out.
* Operationally deliver Group policies and procedures to ensure compliance, including risk identification, management and mitigation, and production of risk assessments, safe working practices and procedures.
* Oversee and deliver on the Group’s commercial portfolio for statutory and Group‑led compliance activities such as Communal EICR, PAT testing, Lightning Protection, Height Safety, Automated Doors, Gates, Barriers and Shutters.


Essential Criteria

* Strong background in planning, arranging and supervising works within complex commercial properties.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and/or contractors to maintain service quality, manage change and develop staff.
* Experience working on large‑scale compliance contracts and supplier performance management.
* Proven experience and knowledge of electrical and/or building systems.
* Good understanding of statutory compliance regulations and technical standards.

You have strong experience delivering customer‑focused services and driving continuous improvement, with a solid background in arranging and supervising works across complex commercial properties. You are skilled at leading teams and contractors to ensure high service standards, managing change and developing people. You prioritise effectively to meet targets, budgets and deadlines, are educated with relevant professional qualifications, understand value‑for‑money principles and can communicate clearly at all levels.
