Role overview: We are currently looking for MIG Welders to join our team based in Leeds. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of structural steel, with a particular focus on the production of Westok Cellular Beams and Plate Girders. You will use the MIG/MAG welding process to deliver high-quality, accurate, products in line with fabrication drawings. Key Responsibilities Produce Westok Cellular Beams and Ultra Shallow Floor Beams (USFB). Work safely and deliver output that meets ISO-9001 quality standards. Use MIG welding equipment to produce fillet and butt welds. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Report any damage or equipment malfunction promptly. Visually inspect all work to ensure accuracy and quality. Maintain a tidy and organised work area. Measure and cut beams to length using an oxy-propane torch to meet drawing specifications. Skills & Experience Experience using air-arc equipment to gouge and prepare weld areas. Competent in MIG welding including single fillet multi welds and butt welds. Ability to interpret basic drawings and produce work in accordance with these.
